The ADFL season gets underway with the Annual 6 a-side Competition.

11 teams provided some excellent competitive games in the 6 a side season opener on Sat 3rd Sept at Sutton Scotney with two divisions playing group stages with the top four in each eventually progressing into the 6 a-side Cup Competition and the bottom 4 [and 3] into the Cliff Allsop Shield.
Despite a torrential downpour during the knock out stages both Competitions were successfully completed with Kings Somborne beating local rivals Broughton in the final on penalties and CK Andover's two sides coming top and runners up in the Cliff Allsop Shield.
An excellent season opener with a competitve level not seen in previous years meant some had to be decided on penalty shoot-outs to determine group stage positions!
