Danny Hillard, two spot-kicks for AFC Crooked Billet...

Wednesday's 3 games...

In Division One, Mick Vooght, also a league referee, made his long awaited debut for Highview. He had held an ambition for a long time to play in a match with all of his three sons playing. Unfortunately, he aggravated a torn muscle inside the first minute, in which time he was statuesque from a Danny Hillard penalty for AFC Crooked Billet as they went behind. It was brief, but ambition achieved! Another Hillard penalty and a Michael Gwilliam header from Chris Chalat’s cross gave them the points. Nick Wellings replied with a brace for Highview.

Chequers continue their resurgence as they beat Athletico Peartree in Division Three, Ashley Bennett and Paul Osbourne on the mark.

Division Four saw champions Coopers keep their 100 percent record intact as Rob Lucas, Ricky Bridge and Dan Auld netted against Bedwell Rangers (Jacob Dawson and Danny Bacon.
