RHODES EBBS LEAGUE CUP

The 1st team to make the Final at Quorn FC are Anstey Nomads as they overcame a strong Allexton & New Parks JFC, 2-0. Freddie Robinson gave Anstey the lead in the 23rd minute but just before half time Allexton were reduced to10 men. Callum Chetwynd put Anstey further in front just after the restart and despite Allexton putting men forward to try and get back into the game, Anstey held firm to claim their spot in the Final.

NORTHERN DIVISION

Mansfield Town moved back to the top of the table with a 2-1 away victory over Heather St Johns’ Development with Ryan Ingram and Kian Sketchley both getting on the score sheet. Heathers’ reply coming from Jake McLeary, who has now bagged himself 30 goals in all competitions. There were goals galore at Peckleton Lane as Desford were defeated 5-4 by Coalville Town Ravens. Thomas Luker, George Smith, Adam Bowley, Jack Millward and Oshay Pathak for the Ravens with Luke Newton (2), Josh Peden and Harrison Kent replying for Desford.

SOUTHERN DIVISION

Abdul Koroma bagged himself a brace as Carib Sports & Social defeated FC GNG 2-0.
