NAPIT SUNDAY LEAGUE REPORT
FC Utd of Bolsover dropped their first points of the season on Sunday in NAPIT ONE whilst Clowne Wanderers and FC Brimington picked up their first. Utd had won their opening three fixtures in style but they were pegged back this time by a very good Hepthorne Lane side. Josh Parfitt, Jack Weaver and Ash Cheetham found the net for Utd but two Joe Stone goals and a third from Jake Johnson secured the point for the Lane. Clowne Wanderers season clicked into gear with a solid performance against Newbold in which Josh Clayton, Sam Richardson and Josh Madin scored the winning goals. Brimington's first victory was a close run one as they just edged out Creswell Black Diamond by the odd goal in nine to leave Diamond still point less. It was a particularly sweet victory for Brimington's Josh Thomas who hit four of the winning goals. Wingerworth BMB's fine start to the season continued with the 7-2 rout of West End Killamarsh. Tom Poole 'starred' in the win, the second player in One to score four times, Jerome Wilkes adding two, Ryan Illingworth one. Tibshelf Town were beaten for the first time this season by a workmanlike Doe Lea outfit for whom Adam Seward scored twice, Aldridge once in a 3-1 game.

Britannia Rose top TWO following their third win from three starts, a hard earned one as well as they just shaded their game at Shoulder of Mutton by the odd goal in five, Callum Featherstone, Declan Jenkins and Liam Roberts the match winners. If this was a close game the one between Creswell Black Diamond Reserves and Renishaw Rangers was anything but as Rangers trounce Diamond, winning by ten goals to two. Leading the charge for Rangers were Ryan Kaspryzcki and Liam Pritchard who both hit trebles. A much closer affair at Dronfield Victoria saw visitors Pilsley Community take the points thanks to goals from Billy Ashford and Alex Prior. Crown Killamarsh are still looking for their first win but they came mighty close as they just lost out 3-2 to hosts Brampton Rovers JMA. Greg Majchrzak and Simon Whitehouse scored for Crown, goals from Conner Roberts, Steph Brown and Phil Robb for JMA. Kyle Turner can count himself unlucky as his hat trick for Clowne Wanderers Reserves proved to be in vain as Danny Talbot's four goal salvo saw opponents Renishaw MW edging the game 5-4.

FC Badger top THREE following a narrow 1-0 win over Grassmoor Sports. A tight first half saw both teams cancel each other out but eleven minutes into the second half Harry Jackson pounced to give Badger a lead which they held onto till the final whistle. Red Lion Whittington Moor's Carl White scored two of his sides goals in a 4-1 win over Brampton Oak Sports. Nathan Linacre and Chris Cave the other two. There was little to choose between New Inn Tupton and Birdholme Club with both sides defences proving hard to break down but eventually a goal each from Shane Burton and Scott Marshall saw Club prevail 2-1. Butchers Arms made short wort work of Black Swan at Ashover as Ryan Lindley, Jordan Price, Ben Stacey, Tom Stacey, Callum Virgillio and Lee Whetton scored in a 6-0 victory. Brampton Rovers were also big winners, beating Matlock Town Wanderers 7-2 at the Dimple ground.

In FOUR Bolsover Town's good start to the season continued with a 6-1 win at Club FC. Charlie Oglesby had a fine game scoring three of the winning goals with Josh Nichols adding two, John McArdle one. North Wingfield Gate Inn travelled to AFC Castle and returned home with all three points thanks to goals from Andy Larwood and two from substitute Josh Davies. Chesterfield Rangers took on Bridge Inn and beat them by three goals to one, Luke Jackson scoring twice, Matt Tait once. A Luke Manlove treble helped his Brimington Arms side to a 6-3 win at Spartans whilst Whitecotes Wanderers beat AFC North Wingfield 5-1.

Glapwell Gladiators maintained their 100% record with a 4-0 victory at Woodthorpe Wanderers who still remain pointless in FIVE. The opening exchanges looked to be going in the favour of Woodthorpe but then 8 minutes in the visitors took the lead Ben Lowe firing home following an assist from Dave Canning. It was two nil on the quarter of an hour mark when Luke Pilgrim’s effort was sliced into his own goal by Dan Mapletoft. Woodthorpe had perhaps been at little unlucky with quite a few wayward shots that having been on target could have probably brought the two teams closer together.
Within 4 minutes of the second half Canning had turned provider again and set up Pilgrim who slotted the ball home to make it 3-0 and when on the hour mark Lowe got his second Glapwell had secured the win and the points to take them 3 points clear at the top. Woodthorpe knew it was not to be there day non more so than in the last 5 minutes when Craig Parker saw his shot deflected away by Jack Harpham in the Gladiators goal when they had looked certain to secure a consolation goal. Holmewood Park Rangers went on a scoring spree, putting eight past Newbold CFC, Gary Young hitting a hat trick, Steve Adams two. Brad Walker two and Mick Saville one. Spireite Pub also had an easy win, beating Dronfield Wanderers 7-0. James Drew and Jason Redfearn both scoring a couple. Likewise Old Whittington MW won easily, Damon Bannister and Jack Yeomans both scoring twice in the 6-0 over Brimington Club. In a much more evenly contested game Hasland Community beat near neighbours Hasland WMC 2-0, Dale Newell and Tom Raybould the scorers.

In SIX Black Bull Rangers and Anchor Clowne both won for the fourth time in as many starts. Rangers have now scored twenty-six goals, Daley Furness scoring three times in this latest victory, Adam Barton a couple. Anchor's win was fairly straightforward, 5-0 over Hasland Community A at Oxcroft MW, Regan Edridge scoring three, Jordan two. Markham Arms Daniel Dodds ran the Dronfield Town defence ragged at times on his way to scoring a hat trick and goals from Andy Devine and Conner Kirk clinched a 5-2 victory for Arms. Nags Head Allstars and Spartans 2nd played out an entertaining 3-3 draw with Steve Roberts scoring twice for Nags, Lewis Read once with Gareth Cotton-Denovan scoring two for Spartans, Mark Vine one. Finally Blue Bell Bolsover won their first NAPIT League game, a 3-0 victory over Ye Ole Nags Head in which Williamson, Smith and Spencer scored.
