The second weekend of the FA National Blind League saw a near perfect points haul for both Worcester and the RNC Academy Bulls, whilst Jonathan Gribbin hit 11 goals for the Everton Foundation.

With an early morning pitch inspection ruling out the use of the outdoor pitch, the league fixtures all moved inside and saw a slightly altered format for the fixtures. All teams were able to complete their fixture programmes and some close encounters took place in a number of games. The biggest winners of the day were Worcester and the RNC Academy Bulls who after drawing their opening game against each other saw both teams win their remaining fixtures to cap some fine displays and cement their positions in the fledgling table.

The return of Jonathan Gribbin saw a much more clinical Everton team finish with 11 goals against their name, all scored by last season Golden Boot winner which included 3 hat-tricks. Everton were unfortunate to lose their game against the RNC, thanks to strike by Dan English, as Gribbin was denied on 3 occasions by the post but still managed to take an impressive points total home.

With Darren Harris absent, Sporting Club Albion found the going much tougher than the previous time out. The game of day was their match-up with Worcester, seeing last seasons top two coming together for the first time this season; Worcester took the spoils by a single goal from Keryn Seal.

Both Middlesex & Home Counties and Leicestershire FA Blind Academy found the going tough with goals hard to come by. Both teams were involved in some closely fought games but on this occasion did not have lady-luck on their side. Leicester ran both Sporting Club Albion and Worcester Blind close and were unfortunate not to take at least a point from both games showing continuing improvement from their first outing last time. Middlesex & Home Counties fared little better on the day and the final game saw an entertaining encounter between the two clubs end in stalemate.
