Hampshire Irons were shell-shocked after their Hampshire Sunday Junior A Cup match against visitors Senior Shots, writes Tony Spencer. Irons were 0-2 down after 25 minutes before Jack Miller was taken out in the penalty area. Rob Mead stepped up and buried the penalty kick, to get the hosts back in the game. Michael Pemberton hit the crossbar as Irons pressed for an equaliser, but were 1-3 down at the break. Jack Rickard in goal and Michael Wood put in some good work in defence but the game ended 1-7 in the visitors' favour.

Republic of Chineham progressed in the Basingstoke Kelvin Cup with a comfortable 2-0 win over FC Wildebeest, both goals from Ashley Elward.

After 35 minutes of their home North Hants Chris Price Cup, North Warnborough fell a goal behind following a lightning breakaway strike by AFC Soldiers. The game was pretty even until half-time. From the restart, Boro applied pressure and turned this into an equaliser on 50 mins 1-1. However, pressing forward left them vulnerable to a couple of fast forwards with a habit of hitting them on the break, eventually losing 1-4 to AFC Soldiers. Taylor Watts scored a hat-trick and Harry Tuffs a single as the visitors ran away with the game in the second half.

In Division 1 Affini Technology were 2-0 up against Soldiers Return through Joe Lawler and James Jupp in the first five minutes, with both sides creating half chances. In the second half, Freddie Cloke unluckily hit the crossbar from a free kick. Andy McCartney did reduce the deficit for Soldiers from a corner kick midway through the second half 2-1. Cloke missed a penalty kick which Craig Atkinson saved for Affini, before Alex Izzo equalised 2-2. It was a defensive mistake with 10 minutes to go that allowed Lawler to wrap up the game with a winner for Affini. Izzo had a late chance but missed earning soldiers a point.

The bottom of Division 2 match between UWS and Basingstoke Saints ended in a goalless draw 0-0, with both teams having opportunities, a fair result despite Saints hitting bar and post.

At the top of Division 3 Soldiers Return Reserves lost their 100% record stretching eight games, going down 2-4 to Camrose Social, who have now enjoyed victory in their last eight games. Josh Lowther and Ben Allnutt netted for Soldiers, while Chris Waller and Matthew Foreman scored braces for Camrose.

Overton United chalked up a first home win of the season with a 5-2 result over Rising Sun.

DG Athletic lost 0-4 to Chineham Reserves, with goals by Joe West, Scott Berry and a Joe Marsh brace securing the points.

RAF Odiham Blades settled first and pushed up, scoring two goals against North Warnborough Reserves in the opening 20 minutes. Nial Day reduced the deficit to 2-1 and Lawrence Wright levelled 2-2, but by the break the Blades were 4-2 to the good. In the second half Boro's Ryan Thorpe was fouled in the box and Thorpe scored from the spot. Less than two minutes later Thorpe scored his second for 4-4. Blades went 5-4 ahead again, but with less than one minute left Jack McGee made it 5-5 and both sides gratefully shared a point apiece. Blades' goals from a Dale Keogh hat-trick, Aiden Goswell and Josh Peckham. Boro are now unbeaten in three, while Blades are in turbulence, without a win in last two games after a run of seven unbeaten,
