Here are this weeks match reports from the OCFA.
The Shepherd's Hut 1 - 4 Chalgrove FC
Chalgrove ran out comfortable victors in this local derby as four first half goals had given Chalgrove a commanding half time lead. The visitors opened the scoring early in the first half when Matthew Howitt headed home from a Paul Coles corner and it wasn't long before Chalgrove had a second as Matt Howitt was again alive in the box to steer home from 8 yards and put Chalgrove in the driving seat. Chalgrove continued to press and it wasn't long before a 3rd goal arrived as a delightful cross from Howitt allowed Simon Godfrey to head the ball home and then in the final minutes of the first half a sublime pass from Tim Cox allowed Simon Godfrey to finish neatly with the goalkeeper rushing out.
The second half saw The Shepherd's Hut rally and they got their rewards in the latter stages of the game with a tidy finish from their #10. Final Score: Shepherd's Hut 1 - 4 Chalgrove.
Community Allstars 1 - 4 Radley.
Radley went 4-0 up in the first half taking advantage of the strong winds with two from inswinging corners and also two shots inside the box, scorers were Aaron Cully (2), Nino Merola and Mike Kent. In the second half Allstars got one back through Klaus Buckle but were unable to convert the many chances.
Fairview 1 8 Rose Hill
Rose Hill came out comfortable winners against a below par 10 man Fairview to
maintain both their unbeaten run and top of the league status.
