Explains the U13 Cup Competition format.

The U13 Competition has 4 Tiers, Cup & Shield for Division 1 and 2 teams, and Trophy & Plate for Division 3 and 4 teams.

Cup & Shield

Stage 1 Groups - amended 20/12 to cover Alfold & Mayford withdrawals.
10 Teams in 2 seeded groups of 4 & 6.
Stage 2 Knock-out.
Groups 1st & 2nd places - To Cup Semi-Finals.
Groups 3rd place & 4th place in group of 6 - To Shield Semi-Final.
Groups 5th Place in Group of 6 & 4th Place in Group of 4 - To Shield Quarter-Final.

Trophy & Plate - Amended 6/11 to cover Loxwood Cobras withdrawal.

Trophy Knock-out, Round 1, 16 Teams, Round 1 seeded draw.
Plate Knock-out, Round 1, 8 Teams, Trophy Round 1 losing teams minus Loxwood Cobras plus Billingshurst Stripes late entry.

Note:

No extra time, straight to penalties, 5 each then sudden death.

Teams who default in cup competition fixtures may forfeit their participation in fall-back competitions linked to the cup competition in which they defaulted. In seeded knock-out competitions where the losing teams fall-back into a lower level competition, an unseeded Team who wins a fixture due to a seeded team defaulting may still fall-back into the lower level competition if they prefer and the League agrees, allowing the seeded team to progress in the higher level competition.
