The Herne Bay and Whitstable Sunday Football League are pleased and proud to announce a sponsorship deal for the 2022/23 season with THE PLOUGH RESTAURANT.
Based in Swalecliffe, Whitstable, The Plough Restaurant, run by proprietor Mel Evans, is firmly established as a community-based hostelry where you can enjoy traditional “Pub Grub”, including one of the best Sunday roast dinners in the area.
But that’s not all. They’ve earnt a special place in the heart of the people of Swalecliffe. During the recent Covid shut down, Mel and her family kept the restaurant kitchen operative. In partnership with Red Zebra, a local charity, and a lot of the pub regulars, they donated and delivered hot Sunday dinners to some of the neediest in the community, as well as to NHS workers to say thank you.
They are also one of the leading entertainment venues, with Live Music every weekend, Cabaret Nights, Tribute Acts, and regular Quiz Nights. Truly something to suit everyone’s taste.
Sponsorship of the local Sunday Football league is a natural extension of the restaurant’s commitment to supporting the surrounding community, and we fully endorse that philosophy.
