Summary of the action from Week 12 of NTU's Serie 6-a-side competition

Going into the second group of league games, with each of the eleven remaining teams to play each other again, four matches took place in Week 12.

4pm saw both pitches in use. Le Saux Solid Crew and Tekkerslovakia, who entered the week in second and third place respectively, ground out a hard fought 1-1 draw, with Le Saux getting an equaliser late on to preserve an unbeaten run that stretches back to 1st November. Next to them Barlows Big Boys picked up their second win in two weeks against Ale Madrid, with the game finishing 5-1 in Barlows favour as they continue to push up into the mid table positions.

At 4.40 Schneefers were involved in their fourth consecutive whcih was one by a one goal margin. However, whereas the last three had ended in defeat fro Schneefers, this weeks game saw them notch up a win for the first time since Week 6, as they beat Borussia Teeth 4-3.

5.20 saw a new record set in the Serie competition as And The Winners Are played Is Your Motherwell. Both knew a win would have let them take advantage of Le Saux Solid Crew and Tekkerslovakia's earlier draw. However, in an exceptionally tight game, characterised by brave goalkeeping and wayward finishing, neither side proved able to do this, with the 0-0 draw being the first one ever in the Serie and only the second in any of the INtra-Mural football played at NTU.

Week 13 should see every team in action except Borussia Teeth who are on a Bye Week. The standout fixture is the last one of the day as Tekkeslovakia play Is Your Motherwell, with both teams fighting over 3rd place and to stay in the championship race.
