Leeds United continue to sponsor the Millennium Trophy.

Leeds United continue to sponsor this prestigous event in the footballing calendar. This competition is open to any U13 team affiliated to the West Riding County FA, and runs on the District weekend (Week 3 of each month). Games take place at 2pm and is run on a knockout basis. The teams competing play in two divisions, the finals of which take place at the Leeds United training ground at Thorpe Arch. The two winners of the group finals then play a championship match at Elland Road Football Ground, which is the spectacular home of Leeds United. The programme of games are managed by the Leeds & District FA on behalf of Leeds United. The Leeds & District FA are proud of their association with Leeds United, and wish the team all the best for their footballing season. Entrance to the 2008/2009 competition closed on the 1st September 2008. New applications can be obtained from the Leeds & District FA website ' www.leedsfa.co.uk for the 2009/2010 season from January 2009 onwards.
