Guernsey U21 v Jersey U21
The (Hotel) Ambassadeur Bowl (presented in 1991)
The Under 21 Muratti was begun in 1988, for the first three years as the Barclays Bank Trophy. Since when it has been sponsored by the Hotel Ambassadeur of La Grande Route de la Cote, St. Clement, Jersey. It was they who presented the current trophy, an 8” twin handled (rings through lion’s mouths) trophy on a 4” base, engraved - Jersey Football Association / Ambassadeur Bowl. The winners are engraved on the base, the years being given as single years for 1988 to 1999 and as seasons thereafter, 2000-01 to 2018-19. These are in four columns – 1988 to 1997, 1998 to 2007-08, 2008-9 to 2016-17 and 2017-18 to 2018-19 (so far). This was the 32nd match with Guernsey currently leading the series 18-13.
