Brief summary of the team's roots and ethos.

Players from the team graduated from AFC Monton Soccer School in 2014 and formed AFC Monton Whites and AFC Monton Yellows. In 2016 the teams merged to form AFC Monton Fire-Dragons for their first season in the new format of 7 a-side under Coach Scott Kennedy and Manager Paul Connolly. For the 2019-20 Season, Coach Jon Ward also comes on board, bringing a further wealth of experience and an enthusiasm for the game to his role. Kids in our team learn about the importance of teamwork, hard work, and friendship in a supportive environment. We take great pride in celebrating their successes and recognise that small disappointments on the way are not failures but an opportunity to learn and grow.
