MATCH DAY 11 (OCTOBER 29th 2023) REPORT.

FULL PROGRAMME AFTER LAST WEEKS STORMS !
Games were back on after a washout last week which saw most games called off. This week was another shortened shortened league programme as this years Stockingford Charity Cup got underway.
The only game in NDSFL PREMIER LEAGUE saw leaders Drayton held to a 1-1 draw with Wykin Social. Jack Colley scoring for Drayton, Cam Brannan for Wykin.
Whilst in NDSFL LEAGUE ONE Clayton Moore’s brace and goals from Prestan Reilly, Liam Smith Stephen Foster, Dom Bonner, Michael Saddler and Reece Rawlings saw Royal Trent were 8-1 winners against Chetwynd Phoenix. Sam Bircher scored the Chetwynd consolation.
Barwell Cricketers leapfrog Coniston Tavern into the top three after a 7-2 win. Connor Beasley hit a brace with singles from Cam Atkinson, Matthew Pratt, Ian McKay, Ben Adams and Jordan Armstrong. Danny Edmund scored a brace on his debut for Coniston.
David Gazley scored for Ambleside Reserves but Noel Gilbert was on hand to make sure Desford-Caterpillar didn’t leave empty handed as the game ended 1-1.
Swan Dive saw defeat for the second game in succession but still remain top of MARK BLAIR LEAGUE TWO. Goals from Declan Macaulay, Musam Rai, Nathan Mcinnes and Luke More was not enough to stop them slipping to a 7-4 loss to Acorn. Steven Merry and Rob Aidrie both picked up braces, the latter on debut with singles from Jack Millerchip, Damien Pierce and Jordan White all on target for Acorn.
Freddie Wakelin hit a perfect hat-trick for Travs as they saw off Sunnyside 5-1, Michael Hutchinson and Tom Croft with the other goals. Ash Jones scored for Sunnyside.
Conny United picked up a 3-1 win over Phoenix United thanks to goals from Shay Durken, Jacob Pears and James Franklin. Noah Spence replied for Phoenix. Bedworth Ex-Servicemen edged a close contest against Crows Nest Sports as goals form Ethan Baynham, Harvey Westwood and Kane Borsberry made sure of a 3-2 win. Steve Hall and Josh Cooper scoring for Crows Nest.
Ashby Road Sports left Witherley with all 3 points as goals from Stu Heathcote, James Heathcote and Matt Mangiante saw them to a 3-1 win over Witherley United Reserves. Ricky Luke with the Witherley goal.
Newdigate United hit 12 without reply past Lamb and Flag in NUNEATON TROPHIES LEAGUE THREEE. A hat-trick from James Lloyd, braces from Kai Smith and Lewis Allton and singles from William Goddard, Ethan Wood, Harry Neale, Cole Burchell and Ellis Busby with the goals.
SS Bulls head remain 100% as they picked up a 5-0 win over Anchor Inn (Hartshill). Goals coming from a Lewis Alleston brace and Zack Taylor, Jacob Read and Josh Atkinson with the singles.
Hinckley Wanderers bounced back after a minor set back last week as they returned from Bedworth Bank with a 3-1 win to keep them top. Dean Croasdale, Jake Hounslea and Mitch Elson with the goals. Liam Roberts with the Bank reply.
Rumour Mill (Barwell) were 3-0 up at Attleborough Sports thanks to goals from Tom Ward, Joe Randle and Danny Winterbotham but made hard work of the second half as Taylor Wallbank’s brace lead an Attleborough fight back as they fought hard for an equaliser but time just saved third placed Rumour Mill who ran out 3-2 winners.
Bedworth Liberal Reserves picked up a 7-4 win over Hearty Goodfellow Reserves thanks to a Liam Holmes hat-trick, 2 from Scott Jurkiewicz and goals from Gavin Milligan and Kenny Davis. Josh Wilkes scores all for Hearty goals.
Griff and Coton Manor Reserves came out 4-0 winners over Earl Shilton Town. Rees Swain and Ryan Skidmore settled the contest with a brace each.
