Sony-A-Game supporting Hampshire FA's campaigns

At their Basingstoke Workplace League fixture, Sony-A-Game were supporting Hampshire FA's #PlayOn strategy to sustain participation of the adult male 11v11 game.


Adult Football is changing and traditional Saturday and Sunday grassroots league football has experienced a down turn in the numbers of teams participating across the country, an estimated 4,000 teams have been lost since 2008/09. The reasons behind this downturn are diverse but it is clear that if a team withdraws from a competition the most sustainable way to keep people playing regularly disappears with them.
