In a thrilling penalty shoot out against Kendal Road. T&Q lift their first ever trophy.

This year’s 5-a-side competition was once again a keenly fought affair. Played under a new format at a new venue. The rules were agreed at the start of the tournament due to concerns over the size of the pitches.

The loss of Ecclesistical FC on the day was a blow, but those teams taking part more than made up for things. Kendal road also entered four teams from their wealth of players, which helped to boost the numbers.

T&Q played St Matts, Kendal Road and Diamonds in the group stages, going on to face Kendal road in the final.

The teams could not be separated during normal time and the Goal keeping heroics of Steve Collins ensured that TQ lifted the trophy.
