Oakley's Okay Start to the Season

Lee Neal put his home side, Dayers Fine Foods, into the lead midway through the first half, although just before half-time on Sunday, Myles Englefield equalised for Oakley 1-1. Oakley's 100% record was continued by a free kick on 60 minutes when Samie Aldoori buried the winner for a 1-2 victory.

Basingstoke Royals remain unbeaten in their first season Division 1, with a 0-3 win over Republic of Chineham. Mark Horton opened their account from 25 yards out, with the score still 0-1 at the interval. On the hour mark Amit Bhuller doubled the lead and, 20 minutes from the end, James McIntosh made the game safe with a shot from 18 yards.

Unbeaten Wheatsheaf stormed into a 0-2 lead with strikes from Ollie Knox and Harry Rudge, before FC Basing first pulled one back, with Tom Skinner from the penalty spot, and Josh Hulme levelled with a 25 yard strike. Then all that effort was undone, when a Wheatsheaf player was fouled on the edge of the box and the free kick buried in the bottom right hand corner, for a 2-3 result in Wheatsheaf's favour.

Soldiers Return took a second minute lead away at Tron, with a neat lob over keeper Luke Strickland. Tron equalised after a Nathan Rae corner on 20 minutes wasn't properly cleared from the lines and, in the confusion, James Tarrant scrambled the ball into the net from close range. Tarrant scored again on 28 minutes with a solo run, curling the ball from 12 yards out into the top corner. John Sayers whipped the ball in from the right for George Patapi to bury Tron's third. Soldiers Return managed to bounce back to level 3-3. Tron edged ahead again on 75 minutes, after Michael Morey nutmegged the keeper on the edge of the area, following Matthew Wilson's pass which had put him clear. Soldiers Return's scorers were JamieLee Galpin with a brace, Freddie Cloke and Stuart Cubbage, to level 4-4, but Tron's late substitute Scott Winterbourne scored the 5-4 winner with his first touch, just six minutes from the end. Darren Hutchins, Tron's secretary, was ecstatic, having never beat them before.

Basingstoke Saints were in front after only two minutes, when a free kick by Omer Fazal led to Astrine West's excellent finish. He clipped his shot low and hard, which went in off the inside of the post. However, FC Everest controlled the rest of the half, going in even-stevens at half-time 1-1, after Dave Chilcott was sent clear on on the Saints' goal from a Luke Richardson pass. In a more evenly contested second half, Richardson got Everest's second from a pass by James Ariss, playing up front for the first time in quite a while. Saints had a chance to level, even hitting the post, but conceded a late third goal when 18 year old Jordan Russell, playing his senior debut, broke away down the wing and scored a worthy winner, slotting the ball past the keeper.

Unbeaten in Division 2, Affini Technology were held to a 3-3 draw at Eastrop Eagles, with goals from Ben Nicholls and a pair by Nick Jupp.

North Warnborough's match against Hampshire Irons was an even and relatively unexciting game, settled in Irons' favour by a single goal, a second half header from Ben Wootton after the 'Borough goalie was earlier concussed.

Chineham lost 1-2 to visitors Team, Shane West getting the home side's consolation goal.

Revolution maintained their 100% start to the campaign with a comfortable 4-0 win over Bramley United.

North Warnborough Reserves find themselves top of Division 3 with a 100% record so far, despite going behind early doors to a strike by Neil Hudswell for home side DG Athletic. North Warnborough won the game 1-5, thanks to a hat-trick from Sean Delfosse and a brace from Sam Wilson.

It was a close fought match at Chineham Athletic, with the hosts taking an early lead before James Lucas levelled for Soldiers Return Reserves with a header midway through the first half. Athletic took the lead back and extended it to 3-1, before Dan Trussler reduced the margin to a single goal. Then, on a breakaway, Chineham Athletic secured a 4-2 victory. Athletic's goals from James Vent, Stephen Owen, Ben Owen and Dale Hooper.

Taylor Watts notched up a hat-trick in his club FC Benidorm of Stoke's 3-3 draw over unbeaten Chineham Reserves.
